Smriti: Art from the Piramal Collection

Smriti: Art from the Piramal Collection aims to build conversation around the 19th and 20th century art from India. Working closely with the editorial team, the purpose of the book was to make information available effortlessly. The simplicity of the design along with hyperlinks within the various sections and chapters allows for easy referencing and keeps the main focus on the art within the book. As many of the works have been published for the first time, the book allows for the works to be cherished and celebrated.

The book was designed keeping in mind that it has to be useful to collectors, students, teachers, colleges and libraries alike. It was important for the information architecture to be built such that there will be easy access to those who wish to look for more information regarding the 19th and 20th century Indian Art.

Smriti: Art from the Piramal Collection was designed while working in collaboration with Kahani Designworks, Mumbai.
